Cookie Policy

Our website uses cookies to enhance your experience and ensure that it functions correctly. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, the types of cookies we use, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website recognize your device and remember your preferences over time, enabling a more personalized and efficient browsing experience.

Types of Cookies We Use

1. Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of our website. Without these cookies, services like logging in or remembering your session cannot be provided.

  • PHPSESSION: Maintains the session state of the user across different pages of the website.
  • login_session: Keeps the user logged in during their visit, ensuring a seamless experience.

2. Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. They provide insights that enable us to improve the website's functionality and user experience.

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track and analyze website traffic. Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address, device information, browser type, and pages visited. This information helps us understand user behavior, such as which pages are most visited, how users navigate through the site, and the duration of visits.
  • Data Processing: The data collected through Google Analytics is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
  • Anonymization: Our use of Google Analytics includes IP anonymization, where your IP address is shortened within the European Economic Area before being transmitted to Google servers in the United States. This ensures that the collected data cannot be directly linked to you as an individual.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit our website, you will be prompted to accept or decline the use of cookies. You can choose to:

  • Accept All Cookies: By accepting all cookies, you agree to the use of necessary and analytics cookies as described above.
  • Decline All Cookies: By declining, only the necessary cookies will be set, and analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, will be disabled.
  • Configure Your Preferences: You can customize your cookie settings by choosing which types of cookies you want to accept. This allows you to accept necessary cookies while choosing whether to allow analytics cookies.

You can also manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time, where you can delete cookies, block specific types of cookies, or receive alerts before cookies are placed.

Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, data protection regulations, or our practices. Any changes will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.

Item Categories

Categories communicate the way the item was available on goSupermodel.

When adding a category, click on the ‘+ Category’ button to open a pop-up menu. Select the right category (see an overview below). If the category only refers to a single color of an item with multiple colors, select the specific color on the left. Add a comment for the gSt team to verify and click ‘save’

Multiple categories?

Some items have been available multiple times on gSm through different means. It is therefore possible for items to have multiple categories.

A category seems wrong?

If you come across a category that seems to be faulty, you’re able to change the category by opening the category window (click the + Category button). That way you can add a new category. Do add a reason to the comments to explain why you think that the item should have a different category.

To delete the old category, hover over the old category tag. A red ‘X’ will appear. Click on the ‘X’ to open the ‘remove category’ window. Add a reason why you think that the category is wrong.
