Let's introduce! 

Heyy! I’m qaz116, 21 years old and from Finland! I actually had the same username back in gSm 1.0 but honestly, I didn’t think I’d stick around for more than a week this time, so I didn’t bother coming up with something fancier.

I’ve always been a very artistic person. When I was younger, I drew and painted a lot, then later I got into jewelry making and eventually 3D art with Blender. Once the designer tool and community shop were introduced, I thought I’d give designing another try, and ever since then I’ve basically been just designing and constantly working on new ideas.

My inspiration can come from literally anywhere. Some designs have been influenced by video games, but usually it’s people, objects, or things I see either online or in real life. One of my biggest inspirations is FKA twigs i just adore her style, it’s so unique and cool.

There are sooo many talented designers on gSm, But i especially look up to scry, triptych, and auxiliary. I truly admire everything they make, they’re just amazing ❤️

As for my design process, it can be chaotic. I usually start with a solid color silhouette, then layer in shading and highlights. For hair, I use a softer brush: small strokes first, then highlights, then shadows. I made a speed draw video of my hair design process if you want to check it out here.

If I had to give advice, i’d say: join Issey Miyake’s design Discord server, it’s incredible for brainstorming, feedback, and overall support.

Also, Hastings’ tutorials are super helpful ❤️

One of my all time favorite designs has to be the cowboy look. It came together so well and I’m suuuper proud of it. Also, these selected items just scratch my brain in the most satisfying way. I’ve got some cool sexy designs coming soon to the shop, so stay tuned y’all xx

And to anyone who wants to try designing but feels like “I don’t know how to draw” or “I don’t have the right equipment” just go for it!!! You honestly don’t need much to get started <33
