After months of brainstorming, coding and testing, it is finally time to share goSupertools 3.0 with you all. Before we share all the new and improved features, we first want to say: 

Thank you! We often say thank you and how much we love you all, but know that we really mean it. goSupertools is something we are passionate about, but wouldn't be this amazing without the help and support from the userbase. The time you all invest by tagging and submitting info is so valuable! gSt would be nothing without it. So again: Thank you! This update is for you all <3

Below, we'll share the major new and the improved features of goSupertools. Underneath we'll share some other fun news and ofcourse a tl;dr. 

Look and feel

The first thing you may have noticed when opening goSupertools today, is that the look and feel of the website has changed. And you are correct! Sieena and co. have done an amazing job with rebuilding goSupertools within a new framework. This framework provides a more stable base for us to work upon. You may not see it, but in performance and behind the scenes, this is a major difference!

Socializing & notifications

If you've seen our 'foxtrail' plan for updates, socializing was a huge part of our plans. And we can finally implement some of the ideas to have more interaction possibilities via goSupertools. 

• The frontpage has changed with the addition of an activity log and polls feature. 
• The newsposts now have a comments section so you can share your thoughts, ideas and excitement with us in the comments below! 
• Notifications have been added in the top bar. You'll be notified if someone f.e. wrote in your guestbook. 
• Share your Wardrobe Analyzer results with others, with the new sharing possibilities. 

Improved profile pages

The profile pages have had an update and some new features have been added. The new features that have been added:

• 'Statistics' to see stats of your contribution to goSupertools. See your own categories, tags, submissions and activity!
• 'View my wardrobe' if you have your Wardrobe Analyzer shared.
• 'View my designs' to open the designer page with statistics about items you have designed.

Improved filters

Something that we ourselves are very proud of, is the improved database filter. Hopefully you'll agree with us that this sidebar (instead of the pop-up) is more user friendly. 

New and improved item pages

The biggest change may be the item pages. With all the info that we keep adding to the item pages, it became quite a mess. So we've decided to introduce three different views: 'General', 'Fashionista' and 'Traders'. Each page shows a different set of infoboxes. Other changes that we've made are:

• Additional info added to tagging: when tagging an item, you can add the important details for that tag immediately. F.e. for a goPack item you're asked to add the price and the date. 
• A report a trade button has been added to the trades overview.
• If you own an item, a checkmark is added to the item page. 
• The price chart has returned! (find it on the traders page).
• Looks with that item are shown on the Fashionista page. 

Improved shops and wishlists 

The menu and workflow to open and edit a shop/wishlist has changed. Instead of the big pop-up that you had to scroll through, you now have a pop-up for individual items. Also, the values known on goSupertools are shown in the pop-up (when you add the item), so you don't have to switch tabs constantly. 

Unregistered users

As previously mentioned, unregistered users will loose some functions. These include: 

• Unregistered users cant create shops anymore,
• Unregistered users cant submit highscores on games anymore,
• Unregistered users cant add info to items anymore

LOTS and LOTS of bugfixes!

And there are more small updates that we've done, but we can't go into every single update in this newspost. We're sure you'll find them on your own!

Privacy policy & terms of conditions

We have updated our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. Our Rules also got an Update. By continuing to use our services after this date, you agree to the updated terms. 

Bugs, ideas or wishes

With this new update, it is likely you may experience a bug here or there. Do not hesitate to let us know in the club forum or in the feedback form. We sometimes don't know that there even is a bug, so it is really appreciated if you let us know. Also share your ideas and wishes with us via these channels. Without all your input, we wouldn't be able to add all these fun updates.
