How we will continue
Hello you wonderful people!
These past days have been quite a journey for goSupermodel, with lots of controversial changes already made and more on the horizon.
We, Teddirachi and Sieena, started this project with a deep desire to categorize items on gSm and give every item the credit it deserves. Our platform lets users relive memories with old items and show respect to all Junior Designers, whether they're veterans or newcomers.
Naddi and her integrating us into the "Better gSm Extension" played a huge role in our journey, and we're incredibly grateful for her support. She recently removed her extension in solidarity with the goSupermodel Volunteers (you can read her statement HERE).
Many of you have asked about goSupertools and our plans going forward.
We've discussed as a team and decided to keep GST running and active. Behind the scenes, we have been busy for the past months to release "goSupertools 2.0" as well. We've also expanded our team by two members who have helped us with new features and layouts, and we'll share more details on these changes soon. We wish we could bring you this news in better times, but here we are.
We don't agree with the decision to let go of the entire Focus group and Social Media Ambassador team, but we don't want to take any more away from the users. We are independent, which allows us to better integrate feedback and suggestions into our website. We want everyone to feel welcome and appreciated here.
Tl;dr: GST currently has no plans to close its doors. With all the current events we felt like we needed to make a statement to make our position clear. We hope that our website can contribute to making gsm a better place for everyone. With updates on the way and new team members we hope to, along side gsm, change for the better.
If you have any concerns about our decision or want to give us your opinion directly, please use the FEEDBACK FORM.
Lots of love,
Sieena & teddirachi
